Twenty cases (25 eyes) of severe ptosis were treated with the levator aponeurosis-Muller’s muscle complex combined frontalis suspension. From 6 months to 3 years followingup the results were satisfactory.The surgical procedure was described. The surgical principles, advantages and disadvantages were discussed.
