Under the background of a series of national policies, various forms of medical association have been established in recent years. The purpose of the medical association is to promote the coordination and integration of medical services and the rational distribution of medical resources. However, the implementation effect varies greatly. In the process of construction, there are problems such as the unsynchronized coordination and operation between the upper and lower levels, the inadequate integration of resources, the differences and conflicts in information standards and even cultural concepts, which limit the construction effect of the medical association to a certain extent. In order to solve these problems and explore a better path for the construction of medical association, this paper summarizes and analyzes the integrated development and construction measures of “discipline+operation” of the First People’s Hospital of Ziyang under the “government-hospital cooperation”, hoping to provide experience and reference for the construction of medical association to a certain extent through the summary and analysis, thus contributing to the better development of the construction of medical association.
The number of new cancer cases in China has been increasing year by year, but with the continuous innovation of medical technology, cancer is gradually becoming a chronic disease. The contradiction between the increasingly large tumor patient population and limited medical resources is becoming more prominent, so the mode of daytime chemotherapy has been widely promoted. This article is based on the operational practice of the “one-stop” daytime chemotherapy center at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. It shares experiences in management mode and system construction (such as spatial layout, personnel structure, operation process, emergency process, job responsibilities, quantitative indicators), showcases the construction achievements of the “one-stop” daytime chemotherapy center, and proposes suggestions for improving the centralized daytime chemotherapy mode.
Objective To construct an information hospital service system and discuss the application effect of information construction in the hospital service center. Methods Patients admitted to West China Hospital of Sichuan University between June 2022 and January 2023 were selected. We innovatively practiced intelligent safety gate, self-appointment admission registration, pre-hospital examination and advance migration, pre-hospital health education, an age-appropriate transformation of information service, and other information service measures to investigate the medical experience of patients, and compared patients’ satisfaction with medical treatment under four admission management methods (Huayitong APP, WeChat, self-service machine, and manual management). Results A total of 1452 patients were surveyed. The overall satisfaction score for medical treatment of patients was (4.98±0.04) points. Among them, Huayitong APP was (4.99±0.03) points, WeChat was (4.98±0.13) points, self-service machine was (4.97±0.05) points, and manual treatment was (4.92±0.11) points. There was a statistically significant difference between groups in overall satisfaction with different admission procedures (F=68.582, P<0.001). Since the information construction of the hospital admission service center was carried out, the average time of admission was (12.4±2.3) minutes, and 89.4% (1 298/1 452) of patients thought the time of admission was ideal. Conclusions The information construction of a hospital admission service center can effectively improve patients’ medical experience and enhance patient satisfaction. In the future, it is necessary to explore the influencing factors of patients’ satisfaction with information construction, and constantly improve and upgrade the information construction of hospital admission service centers.
Rare diseases are mostly genetic disorders that often manifest in childhood, characterized by severe conditions, difficulties in diagnosis and treatment, and poor homogeneity in clinical management. Clinical research on rare diseases contributes to enhancing the diagnosis and treatment capabilities for rare diseases in China and promotes the development of rare disease medicine. Clinical research on rare diseases in China started relatively late, and there is currently no mature and comprehensive system for clinical research on rare diseases. This article analyzes the current state of clinical research on rare diseases in China, identifies existing problems and research difficulties, and proposes ideas and key measures for the construction of China’s clinical research system on rare diseases, aiming to provide opinions and suggestions for the construction of China’s clinical research system on rare diseases.
Poisoning is a common cause of emergency room visits in China, contributing to the fifth leading cause of death among Chinese residents together with injury. This paper describes the development characteristics and morbidity tendency of poisoning in China, in the context of social development in a domestic and foreign view. In addition, the key points to the construction of the discipline and key research realms of poisoning are emphasized, including focusing on the major types of poisoning, evaluating the effectiveness of gastrointestinal decontamination techniques, developing and applying extracorporeal elimination techniques, poison detection techniques, and developing toxic bio-identification techniques.
ObjectiveTo investigate and analyze the ophthalmic resource distribution and service ability of Leshan City, and provide scientific basis for development of ophthalmology and prevention of blindness. MethodsWe statistically analyzed all departments of ophthalmology in 17 general hospitals of Leshan, including numbers of beds, numbers of health technicians, professional title structure, ophthalmic instruments, levels of operation and service ability in 2012. ResultsThere were 186 ophthalmic beds, 84 ophthalmologists, 6 technicians, 64 nurses, 16 professors, 28 doctors with medium-level title, and 40 residents in the 17 general hospitals of Leshan. There were 184 300 out-patients and 9 920 in-patients with 12 320 operations including 6 211 cataract operations in the year of 2012. ConclusionThe ophthalmic resources and service ability are not equally distributed in Leshan. Most resources are distributed in big hospitals of the urban district. Meanwhile, hospitals in remote areas do not have ophthalmologists or ophthalmologic instruments. We should develop our service ability and work efficiency by continuous learning in order to improve the three-level primary blindness prevention system.
With the advancement of thyroid tumor treatment concepts and the progress of standardized treatment processes nationwide, the 5-year survival rate of thyroid tumors in China has risen from 67.5% in 2003 to 84.3% in 2015. As China has been continuously enriching its treatment options for advanced thyroid cancer in recent years, gradually improving the standardized treatment system for early and intermediate thyroid cancer, enhancing multidisciplinary collaboration methods and concepts, and regularizing scientific statistics, the survival rate of thyroid tumors continues to improve. We still need to consider the future development direction and core driving force of China’s thyroid discipline, correctly view the “prosperous” stage of domestic thyroid discipline development, and actively review the future development direction of China’s thyroid discipline.
