Objective To explore factors that affect the assessment of sexual self-defense capacity and to evaluate the effect of social functions on sexual self-defense capacity in patients with mental retardation. Methods A 1∶1 matched case-control study was carried out, which included 174 sexual assault cases, 87 with mental retardation and 87 without mental retardation. A record of forensic psychiatry assessment designed by ourselves was used to collect the general characteristics. Wechsler Adult Intelligence-Rerisedin China (WAIS-RC) was used to determine the intelligence quotient. Rating Scale of Intellectual Disability (RSID) and Global Assessment Function (GAF) were used to assess social functions. Results Besides factors such as culture, occupation, knowledge about sex and payment claim, the scores of GAF and RSID were also related to the assessment of sexual self-defense capacity. Moreover, the correct ratio of discrimination was 73.1% (yes), 66.9% (impaired) and 87.2% (no), respectively, and the general correct ratio of discrimination was 78.1%. Conclusion Not only social and legal factors but also the level of social functions should be considered in the assessment of sexual self-defense capacity. Therefore, it might be concluded that multiple discriminant analysis can be useful when assessing the sexual self-defense capacity of patients with mental retardation.
Cardiac three-dimensional electrophysiological labeling technology is the prerequisite and foundation of atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation surgery, and invasive labeling is the current clinical method, but there are many shortcomings such as large trauma, long procedure duration, and low success rate. In recent years, because of its non-invasive and convenient characteristics, ex vivo labeling has become a new direction for the development of electrophysiological labeling technology. With the rapid development of computer hardware and software as well as the accumulation of clinical database, the application of deep learning technology in electrocardiogram (ECG) data is becoming more extensive and has made great progress, which provides new ideas for the research of ex vivo cardiac mapping and intelligent labeling of AF substrates. This paper reviewed the research progress in the fields of ECG forward problem, ECG inverse problem, and the application of deep learning in AF labeling, discussed the problems of ex vivo intelligent labeling of AF substrates and the possible approaches to solve them, prospected the challenges and future directions for ex vivo cardiac electrophysiology labeling.
ObjectiveTo explore the features of images by CT,MRI,and MRV for early cranial venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) to provide the diagnostic evidence for choosing an optimal imaging examination. MethodsThe clinical data (imaging features of CT,MRI,and MRV) of 46 patients with CVST diagnosed between January 2009 and January 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. ResultsBrain CT showed the direct signs of CVST in 15 cases (32.6%),and indirect signs of CVST in 8(17.4%).MRI showed the signs of CVST in 17 cases (68.0%);the diagnostic positive rate of MR venography (MRV) combined with MRI was 87.5%,84.6% of which was in line with that of digital subtraction angiography. ConclusionCT can be used as screening tool for those highly suspect CVST cases.MRI combined with MRV show great diagnostic value for CVST.
Objective The research was performed to investigate the relationship between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) levels and the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes. Methods We enrolled females who were in the first trimester of pregnancy and had arranged antenatal care at the Weifang Maternal and Child Health Hospital between January 2017 and December 2019. The liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method was used to detect serum concentrations of 25(OH)D. The health status of the expectant mothers and fetuses and the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes of newborns were monitored through the outpatient, prenatal, and delivery stages in the hospital. Results An initial total of 6 770 females were signed up, while 4 997 females were eventually included. The median value of 25(OH)D concentration was 15.40 ng/mL, and the incidence rate of vitamin D deficiency [25(OH)D < 20 ng/mL] was 71.26%. The occurrence rates of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), pre-eclampsia, premature rupture of membranes (PROM), oligohydramnios, polyhydramnios, cesarean delivery, spontaneous abortion or stillborn fetus, fetal malformation, premature delivery, fetal macrosomia, low birth weight, small for gestational age infant, and asphyxia of newborn were 28.31%, 2.27%, 23.47%, 12.68%, 0.51%, 45.71%, 1.44%, 0.93%, 9.26%, 5.05%, 11.68%, 2.68%, 3.18%, and 1.16%, respectively. After adjusting for age, parity, season, pre-existing hypertension, pre-existing diabetes, and vitamin D supplementation, no relationship between 25(OH)D levels and adverse pregnancy outcomes was found (P>0.05). Conclusions Levels of 25(OH)D do not affect the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes in females during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Chronic wounds have a high incidence and a long course of disease, and will bring a heavy economic burden to patients, which is the difficulty of clinical treatment at present. Therefore, it is urgent to find an effective method to promote chronic wound healing. In recent years, the application of therapeutic ultrasound in chronic wound treatment has gradually gained attention, and has become a promising adjuvant therapy. This article reviews the process of wound healing, the mechanism of therapeutic ultrasound in promoting wound healing, the biological effects of therapeutic ultrasound in different stages of wound healing and its application in diabetic ulcer, venous ulcer of lower limbs and pressure ulcer, in order to provide new ideas and directions for the treatment of chronic wounds.
