The Second People’s Hospital of Yibin was taken over by West China Hospital of Sichuan University into its close hospital alliance, and simultaneously undertook the task of construction of regional hospital alliance in Yibin city. The article introduces the experiences of the Second People’s Hospital of Yibin in the high-quality development of novel healthcare system. Led by West China Hospital of Sichuan University and based on all-level medical institutions in Yibin, the Second People’s Hospital of Yibin preliminarily established a four-level hierarchical medical system as “province, city, county, village” model, according to the guide of governments within the whole region. It aims to propose a “Yibin model exploration” in hospital alliance construction based on the western regional situation.
With the increasing improvement of real-world evidence as a research system and guideline specification for pre-market registration and post-market regulatory decision support of clinically urgent drug and mechanical products, identifying an approach to ensure the high quality and standards of real-world data and establishing a basis for the generation of real-world evidence is receiving increasing attention and concern from regulatory authorities. Based on the experience of Boao hope city real-world data research pattern and ophthalmic data platform construction, this paper discussed the "source data-database-evidence chain" generation process, data management, and data governance in real-world study from the special features and necessity of multiple sources and heterogeneity of data, multiple research designs, and standardized regulatory requirements, and provided references for further construction of comprehensive research data platforms in the future.
At present, the health management of chronic diseases in China is still in its infancy. In the face of an increasingly large group of patients with chronic diseases, large general public hospitals often lack a systematic and standardized chronic disease continuity management system. In order to solve the problem of patients’ medical difficulties, popularize the hospitals’ innovative medical services, and promote the professional development of clinical departments, taking the continuous health management model of chronic diseases constructed by West China Hospital of Sichuan University as an example, this paper introduces the background, organizational structure and service process of the system construction in turn. The purpose is to build a new health service model of “smart hospital”, and also provide a reference for the construction of standardized chronic disease management system in hospitals, which will lay a foundation for further constructing a top-down chronic disease whole process system linked with communities and hospitals in the later stage.
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence and natural language processing technologies, ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) has been preliminarily applied in the medical domain. ChatGPT has the advantage of generating coherent and logically reasonable natural language based on big data, and some scholars have conducted preliminary discussions on its application and effectiveness in the medical domain. This article will summarize the application progress of ChatGPT in medical education, assisted clinical decision-making, and medical research based on the authors’ experience in applying ChatGPT, and look forward to its future development trends. At the same time, this article will also conduct an in-depth analysis of the challenges and limitations of ChatGPT in practical medical applications, laying the foundation for the standardized use of ChatGPT in the medical domain.
