Through reviewing the implementation of outpatient appointment services around the whole country, the problems of current outpatient appointment services were analyzed, which included imperfect information platform, low rate of medical experts’ visit on schedule, high rate of breaking the appointment by outpatients, and the new inequity caused by opaque information on the outpatient appointment service. The strategies were put forward to address the problems, including the integration of different social resources, cooperation and sharing, enhancing supervision to increase experts’ visit rate, establishing a new model for outpatient appointment service to decrease the breaking of appointment, and opening information to ensure the fair and impartial appointment.
Objective To understand the outpatients, evaluation and demands of the real-name registration system. To implement the new medical reform program deeply. Methods We used the questionnaire named registration questionnaire of West China Hospital designed by ourselves to survey the outpatients and their family members and were filled in the questionnaire by themselves. Results Firstly, real-name registration system in West China Hospital made major contribution to alleviate the difficulties of registration and medical treatment. It achieved a major breakthrough and created a good social benefit. Secondly, patients the most favourite way of registration was by phone. They were satisfied with the platform of the social welfare services very much. Thirdly, the number of appointment registration arrived year by year, while the number of the day registration fell year by year. Conclusion Firstly, we innovate the form of the realname registration system, refine service and do scientific management at the needs of the patient-oriented. Secondly, we strengthen the track of the failure of appointment registration and analyze the causes. We should take measures timely to reduce the rate of the event and improve the real-name registration system. Thirdly, we strengthen the management of the out-patient doctor visiting program and credit services, to improve medical compliance rate and protect the interests of the patients. Fourthly, we explore a scientific research of out-patient real-name registration system to establish a modern hospital out-patient services model.
ObjectiveTo analyze the reasons for operation cancellation, in order to improve the efficiency and quality of work in Day-surgery (DS) ward. MethodsRetrospective study and related factor analysis were carried out for 985 cases of canceled DS operations from October 2012 to October 2013. ResultsThe main factors for canceling DS operations included diseases, patients and relatives refusing operation, incomplete preoperative preparation and accidental events. ConclusionDS medical staff of each department should enhance the sense of responsibility and cooperation. Preoperative treatment of patients with chronic diseases and preoperative health education and psychological aids should be strengthened to reduce temporary cancellation of DS operations.
ObjectivesTo survey the features of reservation bed and investigate the factors of hospital operation which may affect the patient loyalty of reservation bed in large general hospital. MethodsAll patients who reserved bed before July 2013 in hospital service center of a large general hospital were investigated by questionnaire in telephone and collected the basic data. Measurement index was designed to conclude the characteristics of patient loyalty of reservation bed in different departments. Multivariate statistical analysis was used to analyze the influence factors of patient loyalty. ResultsIn the large general hospital, significant difference was found in patient loyalty of reservation bed in different departments. The diversity was mainly impacted by average waiting time of admission, cancelling waiting length, loyalty of patient inside the province, average length of stay, readmission rate on the day of discharge. ConclusionLarge general hospital should pay more attention to dynamic monitoring and disclosure of supply and demand information of bed resources, to improve the management of beds resources and optimize reservation system, to elevate patient's loyalty of reservation bed in hospital.
ObjectiveTo explore the model of sharing appointments between medical inspection resources in medical alliance hospitals in the medical profession, in order to improve the utilization efficiency of medical inspection resources and patient satisfaction, and to promote the effective implementation of intelligent services in medical alliance hospitals. MethodsBy analyzing the medical process of medical inspection appointments, and organizing the inspection appointment resources of each hospital according to the actual business characteristics of each hospital of the medical alliance by the unified medical inspection appointment platform. Through the unified big data platform, the business collaboration between the medical alliance hospitals and the sharing and scheduling of medical inspection resources among the hospitals of the medical alliance are realized. ResultsThe construction and use of the medical alliance unified inspection platform has realized the sharing and utilization of inspection resources between hospitals in the medical alliance, which is convenient for patients to choose their own inspection resources across hospitals when making an appointment for inspection, and further improves patient satisfaction. ConclusionThe unified medical appointment platform unifies the management of the medical alliance's appointment examination resources, which can not only effectively improve the utilization efficiency of medical inspection appointment resources, but also expand the effective scope of patients' choice of medical inspection appointments, and at the same time improve patient satisfaction and promote the construction of hospital intelligent services.
